I feel I've lived a good life. I am attentive and focused when I work. I don't waste time on personal endeavors: surfing the 'net, hanging out with co-corkers. I first learned Excel when Microsoft first issued it and have gotten quite good at it. I realize that even when I may have my own ideas about how the business should be run, it's someone else's money that got it started, thus I avoid meddling. On the other hand, I have done accounting work where someone has to trust me with their money. I have done well by it.
Off the job, I have been my own person for a long time. I was "quite different" in my home town, Saugus, Massachusetts. I have successfully resisted peer pressure for a long time to engage in the wasteful suburban American lifestyle. I prefer city living with its conveniences. I can walk to nearly everything where I live. I rent a car in the rare occasion when I have to drive one, a few times a year. I keep it healthy when I eat, low animal food intake, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I do a lot of my own cooking and have been doing it for years so I've gotten quite good at it. I can grow a lot of plants and can do some difficult things with them. Ever air-layer a dracena, for example? I did that over 20 years ago. I am always interested in company and would like to meet you.
